Male’ana Gardens Tropical Elopement in O’ahu, Hawai’i

Planning your perfect wedding can be SO incredibly fun but also SO difficult, too.

Some wedding planning decisions are a little more important than others. One of the biggest choices you will make is… (drumroll please)… your WEDDING VENUE!! Picking a wedding venue that you love + adore is so important because that venue will majorly set the atmosphere + tone for your entire BIG DAY.

If you’re looking for a more relaxed, intimate, and tropical-cabana-type environment, then Male’ana Gardens is the perfect wedding venue for you, hands down.

Male’ana Gardens is settled in a secluded neighborhood (their address is not listed publicly, it’s that exclusive!) and showcases the perfect combination of a lush garden, an open-air tropical gazebo, and a pristine white sand beach just minutes away. This intimate wedding oasis is calling your name. (Yes, I’m talking about you!)

Brooklyn + Benson are the some of the sweetest, most down-to-earth humans I’ve had the pleasure of photographing. They had the DREAMIEST intimate elopement to celebrate their love!! Surrounded by the greenest tropical foliage, this elopement was the perfect island oasis getaway to tie the knot.

Struggling to find the perfect wedding venue for your special day? Here are a few things to keep in mind that will help make your decision!

  • Style:
You obviously want your venue to match the style + theme of your wedding. If you’re planning a rustic + vintage wedding, you can look for a venue that exudes vineyard, country-side architecture. Or if your wedding is styled in a boho theme, you might look for a venue that looks trendier, with dessert vibes and a touch of national park grandness.

  • Budget:
Let’s talk money. What is your budget? Call your venue to personally get their pricing. You will get more accurate and personalized information when you speak to someone over the phone as opposed to looking up a website. Use that budget to help you say “yay” or “nay” to those venue options.

  • Capacity:
Is your wedding guest count big or small? If you’re planning an intimate + micro wedding, you won’t need to worry about accommodating a larger crowd in terms of size or rentals. That will help rule out venues that won’t be a good fit. Make sure you have a solid head-count of guests attending so you can plan your venue accordingly! (Male’ana Gardens specializes in guest counts less than 20, and they do that type of wedding REALLY well.)

If this sounds like your cup of tea, hit me up, and let’s make your dream wedding come to life!
