Private Beach Elopement + Brunch, O'ahu Hawai'i

Let’s be real. Your spontaneous + adventurous-self longs to escape on a whimsical elopement to an island in the middle of the sparkling ocean.

When planning your ideal wedding, you don’t have to include an extravagant venue to fit 200+ guests or choose a wedding date that suits every one of your guest’s schedules. Your ideal wedding can be planned around the most important part… YOU + YOUR PARTNER.

That’s right, I said it. You can say no to a traditional wedding and say yes to a modern + adventurous elopement! There’s truly nothing better than celebrating your love by escaping reality for a bit and jumping on a plane to a tropical destination to say, “I do.”

I know what you’re wondering.

If you elope, then your family can’t be there for your big day.

BUT! Don’t worry, you can still celebrate with your friends + family when you return home! While choosing to celebrate with them after your elopement, you can skip all the drama + hassle that may come with a bigger wedding.

I am forever thankful that Allie + Taylor trusted me to photograph their intimate wedding day! Their ceremony was SO special and filled with so much love!! Officiant Kelehua incorporated traditional Hawaiian practices into their ceremony, like blessing their rings with ocean water, and having them exchange lei. Every detail felt so precise and intentional.

After tying the knot at a secluded beach in Hale’iwa, the North Shore of O’ahu, we headed over to the cutest little café, Wicked Hi Café, to enjoy a celebratory brunch with sourdough waffles + macadamia nut lattes. (Best idea ever, I know!)

Ashley, owner of Wicked Hi, was so incredibly accomodating in allowing us to rent out the whole space to ourselves. The bright yellow cafe is quaintly decorated with local art, hanging plants, and board games. It felt perfectly intimate, with a laid-back surfer vibe that Hale’iwa is so well known for.

After a whole lot of love, and a whole lot of waffles, it’s safe to say this Hawai’i elopement was a success.

Explore a little more, love a whole lot more, and celebrate for eternity.
